 Spiraling energy, perhaps magnetic, seems to come out of the rugged terrain in this valley of strange geological formations…a place created more than 400 million years ago during earth’s violent beginning.

 You’ll marvel at the results of tectonic upheavals…faults,foldings and thrusts of earths crust. Wind, water and fire changed the surface over the next 50 million years.

 We cannot explain the unusual behavior of magnetic compass needles here. It may have something to do with iron and other mineral deposits that appear in brilliant colors in the towering cliffs.
