Spiraling energy, perhaps magnetic, seems to come out of the rugged terrain in this valley of strange geological formations…a place created more than 400 million years ago during earth’s violent beginning.
You’ll marvel at the results of tectonic upheavals…faults,foldings and thrusts of earths crust. Wind, water and fire changed the surface over the next 50 million years.
We cannot explain the unusual behavior of magnetic compass needles here. It may have something to do with iron and other mineral deposits that appear in brilliant colors in the towering cliffs.
One feels high realms of awareness, an up-lifting of spirit and, energized during a visit to the valley. Some say this positive effect can last for days.
The valley was a magical and mystical place to ancient people. They did not live here, only visited to pay respect to the powers that created the awesome landscape. They believed the colorful stone that resembles wood logs ( in a part of the desert where there are no trees) were gifts from their gods. Today it is called petrified wood. We’ll show you where it has been hidden since theTriassic Period, for 240 million years. You may keep a piece as a souvenir.

Comfortable travel in a powerful H2 Hummer to breathtaking Valley Of Fire State Park. Here is an extraordinary display of sandstone created by water, wind and time. Your guide will share knowledge of the Mojave Desert, its plants and animals surviving in this rugged environment while we point out famous and beautiful sculpted shapes in the Parks flaming red petrified sand dunes.
Then, a brief but thrilling off road adventure into the ANCIENT VALLY: a wonderland of mysterious rock formations created by earth movement over 500 million years. We explore and search for petrified wood, the remains of fossilized tress hidden in this strange part of the desert. You may keep a piece of petrified wood as a souvenir. We are the only tour company licensed to take you on this amazing journey back through geological history.
Later we can relax at the Moapa-Paiute Indian Nation Travel Plaza. If you wish there is time to shop for Native American handicraft.

Millions of years before mans first camp fire was the desert. Sixty years before the first lights of Las Vegas lite up the desert night, 3,000 miners, prospectors, gunfighters and entrepreneurs built a town in the desert called Goodsprings. For a while they prospered, finding gold and silver in the nearby mountains. Then, they vanished!
Our comfortable H2 Hummer will take you to this historic mining district…Thrill at the breathtaking view of the valleys sprinkled with desert plants as we ascend to 5,000 feet. Your guide will tell fascinating stories of determined men who risked their lives searching for riches in this unforgiving desert.

Ride in our comfortable H2 Hummer between giant Joshua trees and a variety of interesting desert plants. Then, suddenly, the landscape is conquered by a mountain of red sandstone. We are in Red Rock Canyon and at once you know why it is on the list of most visited parks in North America.
Your experienced guide takes you on a historical journey, explaining the unusual geological formations capturing your attention. There are stories of the Old Spanish Trail, Bonnie Springs Ranch and the historic village of Blue Diamond nestled at the base of the Majestic Spring Mountains.
Now, it is time to see the desert from the inside. We’ll drive off road in our powerful Hummer to explore paths traveled by Native American Indians, Spanish explorers, prospectors and Morman pioneers. You’ll learn why these trails were so important to those early people. Our Hummer crawls over jagged rocks along Devils Backbone and crosses Rattle Snake Wash on the way to an ancient dry lake.
Your driver carefully maneuvers through Jeep Trap Ditch (we haven’t lost a vehicle yet!) and turns at Dead Man Wash to reach Fossil Hill. Here, if time permits and with a little luck we’ll find 200 million year old fossils.. Keep one if you wish.
